Once logged on to elginmotorfreight.com, customers key in their unique and secure password to directly access the wealth of information gathered by Elgin's sophisticated computerized tracking systems. On any day of the week, at any time of day, they can access shipment tracking information, service reports and download copies of all pertinent paperwork.
Shipments can be tracked in real time by different methods - EMF order number, customer bill of lading/PO#, or by our trailer number. If none of these are available, simply by entering a date range and order status, customers can track their shipments from a list.
The information available is the exact same data that customer service representatives access when they respond to phone calls. Changes in status, such as arriving at pickups or deliveries, are automatically updated within 15 minutes of the event occurring.
Our powerful and flexible Service Reporting function allows our customers to produce service reports not only when they need them but also in what format they need them. Customers can choose from two format types, detail or summary, or if desired, reporting by exception only.
